Biography

I grew up in the UK during the 60's and 70's when new Folk music was just beginning to appear in this country - I was 14 years old and began to visit folk clubs all over the UK where singer-songwriters sang their hearts out to us all - and so I began my journey. I have been writing songs since then, and recently began to put some of my favorites onto home-studio CDs. Just about to produce CD#4 in 2008.

I am an ordained Buddhist, and a lot of that philosophy makes its way into my music and songs. I love poetry and "swapping stories", as Joni describes it.

I hope you enjoy these songs. I have no pretensions to being a great singer or player, just connecting with other fellow humans via this amazing medium of music. If you get a connection through these songs, let me know - swap some of your stories if you like.

Oh Yeah, right off the bat, I turn to you, I hear a Paul McCartney influence which is always a pleasure for me, nice recording, very nice recording, I like the harmonies and your voices blend and compliment each other very well, great job guys and gals, thank you Gary P.
