Biography

Akadamie des Tag is the latest ftlpope incarnation and alter ego of Schule der Nacht.  Sometimes tunes rendered by Schule der Nacht  (School of Night) are reworked into acoustic grooves by Akademie des Tag (Academy of the Day).  The tasks are very different – electric music hides a multitude of sins but acoustic music is a harsh mistress.  We are new to this genre so we ask you to be forgiving of our indiscretions .  We are based in Waterloo, London and have many musical influences.  If you like this, try Seekers After Smooth Things, Sorrows of the Languedoc, Monas, Milagre Dos Peixes and Schule Der Nacht.  Our song image is Dionysus.  Keep the faith and keep it secret.  ftlpope.
