Biography Born in Guatemala City but a citizen-of-the-world First instrument was the classic guitar but as soon I I discovered keyboards as a tool for composition and performance i strided since 1979 to be able to imitate as close as possible the playing nuisances of all instrumentalists. Recently, with the new Soft Synth technology, my dream is getting closer... Also of course I love to watch and talk to... beautiful women !!!! Part of my activities are in the educational fields, acting as a director of a university MediaLab, and teaching electronic music production, video effects and digital video production. Part time I am an independent commercial video producer for advertising. Also work doing musical ambientation for documentaries and other audiovisual material. Graduated as an Electronics Engineer, Masters in software development, Electronics applied to T.V. Broadcast and university professor. Also a Classical guitarrist and an amateur keyboardist. I do have some time for eating and sleeping too!!!! I'm a Bad Girl by Apparition - Virtual singing, music and animation. Hi Emilio, sorry for the late reply coz was busy busting some PC bugs and viruses. IT is my professional, music is only a pasttime hobby (Can't make a living in Singapore with music and doing newage music here is a suicide). Thanks for the encouraging message. No worry, I don't hold any dispute with anyone, I pass love around. Keep doing your beautiful music.

Thanks for your encouraging message, without these I don't think I can continue with my newage music in Singapore here. It is like doing something out of the mainstream, so many rejection and sarcastism by the music labels. So, music has become only a parttime hobby now. For the time being, I will only stick to newage music unlike your creativeness and talent, you can do so many difference music. I envy you for this course. And doing a music piece for your love one is the most rewarding task of a father. I can't even do that coz I am still single. LOL! Love at its best.

Hey Emilio, you misunderstood me. I didn't said my music is free of MIDI qualities. Mine was entirely made of only midi too but it is how you can make it melodious and enjoyable just like yours. I just want to clear things out. Continue with your wonderful music works and let everyone feel the charms in them.

I am glad to know musician with such passion like yourself. The reason I said Midi is primitive because someone at the old mix said this to me "I don't review music which are made from midi, although I had reviewed many of his songs". His songs are definitely of high quality and sound range (VST), but his attitude sucks! You know we made music not only to let people enjoy the fruits of our hardwork but also make online friends with a great community. Giving reviews generously is another way of giving unconditional love - this is what I have in mind always coming to the Mixposure community. I hope you enjoy your stay here and let your wonderful music heals the mind and the soul too. Keep doing your fabulous music, stop at nothing.

'In Your Eyes' is very familiar; however I do love the sound...cool latin guitar sound, very good efx. & a bit of cross of looping to a techno & human fusion, very clever stuff. That accent is really cool; I'm in love with a virtual cool female vocalist; amazing. Like that synth sounding guitar. WELL DONE; VERY UNIQUE USE OF THIS...Impressed...I feel like I'm in a spaceship listening to the music on the seats headsets going on my space journey. You know , she has a 'Finnish' accent. Superb tune really unique.
Most enjoyable jazzy fusion. -Your fan & friend. -Vesa. |

To white Chameleon: Thanks dear friend! As a matter of fact, the voice is virtual and not a vocoded one as some listeners thought. Certinly the intonation and style I used for this was based on Gloria Purim, the brazilean smooth singer, that gave worldwide contact to Joao Gilberto's creativity. Your ear is... excellent! And I will follow up with some "brazilian" stuff. I use quotes because I dont like to do covers, so I will have to become an Ipanema freak to come out with some acceptable Braz. music!

Lots of great production and an singer with an awesome voice right on it. I could picture her doing some Brazilian or other Latin styles which might suite her better. But then that's just me!

Hi, Emilio,
Thanks for the great reviews -- all of them I will certainly return the favor. You asked about how I recorded these. All of the work was done on Boss BR1600CD stand-alone digital recorder. Except for the bass and harp tracks, everythging was done at my house. I recorded the hap and bass bits on my visit to maine. Just took the machine along with me. All the mixing, EQ, and mastering was done by me at home. I can't rattle off all the technical stuff -- I just do it by ear. The best advice I ever got was to trust my ears. So far it has worked beautifully, One thing I try to do is capture a "live" sound in the home-studio recordings. Many of the comments I receive mention that my songs have a "live" sound to them, so I guess I have the right idea. Capturing energy in a studio setting can be hard, but I just let it rip, try to stay fluid, and let the music guide the recordings. Again, Thanks for the great comments and reviews. They are greatly appreciated. Peace, Paul |
