Biography

Many moons ago though still intact in memory A Damon Albarn asked singer songwriter of "Away With The Fairys" Patrick Murphy to drop out of East 15 acting school with him to form a band.

Murphy´s answer was no , even though Murphy knew that Albarn would become the star that he is i.e. the father of Brit pop.

Murphy did go on to form a band called "Earth" in his native city of Liverpool in the uk and gained much experience in playing live.

Earth were approached by Sony records after they had received a band Demo , but , the band split up before getting to the table.

A few years later a band called "Away With The Fairys" was put together composed of Danish musicians. This band played mainly in Denmark but crossed the waters to play the Cavern in Liverool for a crate of Budweisser and 30 pounds.

Soon after due to changes in life for all the original "Away With The Fairys" where over and Murphy took to writting solo when he could from the confines of his bedroom.

This year a new project is in the pipeline to work  once more with fellow musicians in the flesh.
