Biography I WOULD LIKE TO PINT OUT THAT I AM NOT...REPEAT...NOT IN BEDOFRD, BEDFORDSHIRE...I HAV ENO IDEA HOW THIS CAME ABOUT...I AM IN PETERBOROUGH, CAMBRIDGESHIRE!!!!
Not much to tell ... my name is actually Gordon Leed:) . I spent a lot of my youth listening to and trying to emulate The Beatles, The Animals, The Who, and so forth. In the early to mid-70's played with a band specialising in what may be termed symphonic rock in the Lincoln area. Since then I did nothing musically until in 1998 I discovered I could make music on a pc!! Since then as applications became more powerful and accessible, and computers got ever faster and more reliable, soundcards becasme recording studios and along came ACID Pro...well, there is no limit!
All music listed on this site is available for license. Contact me dragonstale247@gmail.com
my music is for those who appreciate the art, and although I try to sell some of it, obviously, I am happy if people just listena nd comment, criticise (constructively please) and so long as it is enjoyed by at least one person then the effort has been worthwhile for me. |

Belle Amoureuse, I just had to review twice, since I liked it so much. It is a fave now. I was listening, then decided to go ahead with another review, since I heard something refreshingly new in it.
Great! -Vesa. |

Hi Gordon, thanks for the appreciation of Tropic of Cancer by Milagre Dos Peixes. This was recorded by me at home in South London almost 20 years ago. I saw Milton Nascimento at the Royal Festival hall 2 weeks ago (great but not quite wonderful any more). I am also part of some other very different music on this site: Sorrows of the Languedoc, Seekers After Smooth Things and Monas. Quite like your stuuf too. Thanks again.

turning black roses red is a wonderful tune. i lovethe imagery by the way, very gothic. this reminds me a little of Enigma, until the vocal. then it completely changes. What a lovely Bowie tone. Adamski comes through too and a little blancmange. But this is a huge tune, I love it! PETE MURPHY!! thats the voice I was looking for. Brilliant!!

I hope Peterborough is good this evening? How could such class production come from there? this is awesome. I have never got to grips with the technology of home recording, this is a real top draw peice. I can't find a flaw, beautiful to listen to and could hear it on a movie blockbuster as well as computer game. brilliant composition! I am from Sunny Rugby in Warwickshire we once played in peterborough to a dog and an old man, and had to stop at 9 for the bingo! take care!

I really like the imagery you project in your song, Black rose to red, Did you ever think adding a strong female lead against your music, let her take the lead vocal thay way it coumters your lower voice. For me this would work. The melody is strong and complex without thinking and being over done. Imagine a female voice like in the background of Peter Gabriels album So....Just a suggestion.

Just checking out your tunes and became totally hooked on Angel. On a dreary morning certainly put a smile on my face. In my mind this is one of those travelling songs to keep you reassured your journey's gonna be alright. Excellent music.

I was browsing around a bit more - I really like your approach as a composer, and btw, your page looks pretty good, too. A consistent theme pervades, which is good. And I for one, like the artwork(s), and dragons, too.
You're a great addition to the mix. jk |

I enjoy the surreal nature of your songs. Takes your imagination to another place. I especially liked The Dragon and the Rose, a very soothing and "magical" song.
