Biography

Drop that Life Baggage and Rock On

 I sing, play guitar, bass, and keys. I program drums beat by beat because I tend to suck at the real set although I love to play. It's the same with brass and woodwinds, I like to try to play them but I don't want that on my songs so much. LOL I have always been bad enough to stay humble and just good enough to get paid. I sound like the inside of your head when you want to hear loud funky bass and drums, Loud textured guitar, interesting and different vocals, (in key hopefully). It has got to groove somehow. I want it to feel old and rootsy while being modern. I want to tell the story. I want to pour my heart in and out of every word. If this happens I am happy. If it does not, I try again. I have played mostly in the Northwest and up and down the West Coast for more than 20 years. (A lot more :) ) I have a good band and a decent studio in Portland Oregon. I play about 90 shows a year. This playing live is my Island of happiness from which I commute to the rest of my life. I have a flare for the dramatic and would like to croak on stage as a very old fart someday.
