Just wanted to let you know that It's My Life is absolutely amazing!

"Just Fine" - I had to listen moe. The syncopation is so cool. Funk is just kickin' my butt. What a production. Well the Jury has returned a verdict: Sentenced to lifetime of funk and cool. Smokin' stuff here GJ. I'm blown away. I'm playing this for my son, he's diggin' it too. Love it - love it, did I say: love-it?

"Brain-Lag" - Love that funky feel. Truly "in-the-pocket". Maybe brain lag: but no groove lag. The bassist ripping the strings off that neck. Excellent arrangement without too much going on. It all fits nicely. If ever in Finland, gotta find you chief. The contrast in your laid-back vocals against this sizzling arrangement was fantastic. So very cool. Well Done man. Truly inspiring. Please peel off some time to listen to the tracks of "Mortal Shell" lemme know your thoughts. That horn section is TIGHT, reminds me of Earth Wind & Fire's "Phoenix Horns" back in the day. I'm laughing with delight here.

"Coming Home": Love the tone in your axe. Glad you're here in the virtual world. Fun lyrics - well performed vocally. Beautiful changes: your bassist captured that reggae feel nicely. Nice touch throughout. You had my toe-tapping indeed. I came here through Amy's recommendation - good musicians obviously connect with other good musicians. I was not disappointed - great song and execution. Nice indeed.

Juri,
I learned that mixing technique from you !backing vocals: high harm 25 left right, mid harm 35-45 left right, Low harm 50-to 70 Left right .
The harmony next to the main vocal is right behind the it lower in volume and dead center ( simulated two people on the same Microphone .
Got that from listening to your productions and mix's , I could be way off but thanks for the help anyway .
Cheers
Wilberry

"What a Cryin' Shame"! YEAH, a beautiful ORIGINAL melody. Nothing close to the canned pop melodies I seem to always hear now. GREAT stuff, as usual.

Thanks again for the great interview, Juri! You did a fine job, as I knew you would. And I am so pleased that "English" is one of your strong languages. As I've said before, you speak better "English" than I do, and it's my native language. Again, thanks, man! You did a fine, fine job.

"I Don't Give A Damn"? Well, I give a damn about this one.... excellent blues, amigo. Your gifts as an arranger/producer/musician really has no bounds. You've taken Indie to the next level, Juri. The performances, the great vibe, and that huge mix makes for a great, great song. If I was wearing a hat right now, I'd be tippin' it to you and your gifted associates on this one! And that guitarwork.... WOW!

Peace,
Jim

Heyyyy, thanks so much for the lovely reviews!!!:) I'm just listening to "Stung", and I used the same awesome background groove cinema also years ago... and now find it here in another fantastic song of yours!
You asked me if I've worked with Reason for "Isaac's Apple". No, not for that one - I've used Kontakt and Cameleon 5000 and many more. I'm actuelly not a "big" electronica fan, but I LOVE fusion ways like you do with your songs!!!!
Cheers, Pascal
