WIRETAP- I listened to both versions. I'm wondering if the version without the guitar you could make into a DANCE version. Personally I like the guitar version. It's nice and full. The fact you orchestrate your vocals in a unique way always grabbed my ear.

Drone (Rough Mix): When I listened to this piece I found myself mentslly transported to some strange and interesting desert land...
Superbly atmospheric track...
Could be used as part of a major film soundtrack..easily.
Very well played and composed.

Song For Nigel has a lovely sound...
It is very atmospheric...great late night music.
That Johnny Cash-like voice will always add an extra dimension to all Jim's Artificial Earth compositions.

You've got a style all your own for sure.
Funny Lil brain is an entertaining song - reminds me of zappa somewhat. The music is well done, and it's unlike most other artists.

It is I, GEZHA, PRIME OF THE CARINA NEBULA, hailing you and demanding that you dispense with your song "Kung Fu Rhapsody" to my personal email. Failure to comply will be rewarded with a wild romp in the probe room of the Industrial Mothership! Perhaps the x-475 Electo-magnetic Omni Probe will be involved. PS. Please pet your android artificial aardvarks for me, as I have programmed them to do my bidding and graze/feast upon your lawn so you will not need your lawnmower. your pal, gp

Jim have you ever thought of using some classical music for your creative endeavors, like MasterPiece Theater composition. Would be interesting to hear what you would come up with.

Jim you art is insighful original and so smart, like William H Burroughs meets David Byrnes, truly inspired by your words and the always great music they ride on, a true American Poet.

I listened to a few of your songs, thought they were real creative. The way you use all the instruments together create an actual feeling and scene in your head. Very cool, would love to hear a hip hop type of beat from you. Keep it up.

'Burn W VA Down', how original. Very ethereal. I like the way it wanders to thse places and comes back to the verse. The drums are right on. Thanks for this.

Circle of Light (Oval of Darkness), what a clever title..wish I had thought of it..The neat backing work on here make this a very 3 dimensional piece; then of course there is that all-important guitar...good n' raw again on here...which is the way I like it. If I close my eyes whilst listening to this I can imagine the hustle and bustle of a big city..street life, that sort of thing. Nicely put together.

Just been checking through your work, and 'Holdout' is an ingeneous number, gutsy and momentous...well played/engineered.

Hi Jim, just watched the video of Song For Nigel. For some reason it wouldn't let me post a review there.. Just wanted to say I loved it. Perfect musical and visual tribute to a great guy. Congrats. BTW, smoking stunts your growth. Apparently I would have been 6'8" if I hadn't taken up smoking.

Cheers

Brian
