Biography

I have been playing guitar since I was eight years old. (a long time ago) I took lessons for approximately seven years from Dan Kent, Victor Lawrence, Dan Mackey, and Russ Lawrence, at Lawrence Music in Castle Shannon, PA. I was taught to play every style of music. Chords, Scales, Songs,.....everything. I also had music theory instruction during that time.

During my teenage years, I played in the Jr. High School stage band, and a few pickup gigs with some friends. Nothing too serious. For a period of time, I took a bit of a hiatis and did not play. Then after repeated requests from friends, I started playing again.

I began attending open stages at local clubs. I got to know other amazing musicians.  Some of them have influenced how I play today. Then from that came the bands, and the gigs. I performed in local (to Pittsburgh) bands for approximately the last ten years. I played mostly Rock, Pop, Blues, and R&B.

Today, I am still interested in gigging as well as recording and publishing my own tunes, or tunes in collaboration with others.
