Dear friends at Sunoco:

Please consider supporting the funding of BLANK CDs for "Old Toad" Gil Leclerc's effort to supply our overseas service personnel with independently recorded music.

Many of the artists that "Old Toad" Gil and his lovely wife, "Crazy-Lady Karen", have donated their resources and time in assuring that radio outlets in Khandahar Afghanistan (for example,) will have Canadian content available for those Armed Forces listeners.

This undertaking, for the last four and a half years, has be a source of solid comfort for our Troops. And Gil Leclerc, along with his spouse has solely spearheaded the project working in his own spare time.

"Old Toad" Gil is a breadwinner who works long hours but who still has the patience, love and dedication for our courageous men and women who have chosen to put themselves in harm's way for the purpose of peace, security and human dignity, to assemble the recordings to be shipped.

Unfortunately, this noble initiative needs a financial boost or it could fail. To keep up this momentum is becoming too costly for just a few dedicated individuals. The wherewithall just isn't always forthcoming.

Please read below. Thankyou for any support you can offer Gil and Karen in this matter.

we actually asked them to buy cd,s from supplier and let us use their postage machines up to $1000.00

we really dont want the money we asked for blank cd,s and the use of their postage machines upto the grant level

sorry this took so long but the lady had a bad time recently falling

I love this tune. Very clever indeed. Good production cool vocals. I just may have to bike to work tomorrow. This is a pleasure to listen to.

'I like Bike' -being a Social Studies minor, I should of had you in my class, when we talked about the industrial revolution era. Sweet guitar & piano with organ start...love the harmonica as always.
My students were tired of my lecturing, kinda, so I pulled out my guitar, but wish I could sing...could but I do a good black blues guy imitation...low range (lol)
Fun tune, from cycling to recycling...fine environmental message. Great...My family, one warm year here biked from March to October, until it was time to buy a car...drive it less now...
In Amsterdam they close the streets only to bikes, I believe still do...time for alternative energy...

This one hits home, since I really got into the environmental issues; this city has bad zoning; long story, but giving way to big bucks companies to let their huge transport trucks have a new 'stop spot' in the hospital zone!!?HUH -think of all the polLuttion from diesel fumes heading into hospital windows.

'In Too Deep' pullllllled me right in. Like this sound-most unique. Like a celtic, -sounds like the guitar is playing like 'bag-pipes' -yeah, ...folk, progressive rock, wow!! I think I heard this before. Must have been in my head. Catchy or what...what a sound. struck deep nicely by the slide guitar. Great fusion -all the elements work like one 'cocrete wall of sound'...Fabulous lyrics. "Stop the negatives...all relative'.
Truly a fave. This is the best tune of yours...that's so hard to say, cause there is so many good ones, but it is soooooooo catchy and stays as an 'earworm' -just won't leave my brain -in a good way.
