My studies began at the Ontario conservatory of music in Canada at a young age. Later I received a degree in music education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. My education included vocal training, playing all orchestral and band instruments, band administration, conducting, orchestration and performing.  Guitar was an instrument I learned to play at 17, but didn't take it too seriosly until much later in life.
