Smile” The first time you hear the chorus to the first single off their soon to be released debut, it will pull you in hard. The second time it comes around your in the band. Not that this trio needs any help. When lead singer bassist Michael Spears leans into the microphone and pours it out with his life long friends Bryan Hall on guitar and Ludo Baccherini on drums, there isn’t room for anyone else on the stage. Their songs exhibit a rare combination of artfully crafted lyric melody and beautiful power. ”Do you wanna start a band, come on you can play drums, beat on those boxes with your hands, last night I made up a song. A hundred years ago when we were young and stupid, was it that long ago when we were young”. maydayground is something very cool that was built in the garage. Maydayground are part of the Sowing Circle in Nashville, with Billy & Rose Falcon, David Fair, Brad Nelson, Phil Roselle, The Mulch Brothers, Danny Salazar & Friends.

They perform every Thursday @ The Blue Bar in Nashville.

Billy also co-wrote the ten songs on In Technicolor, Maydayground’s debut album.
