Biography

Well, my name is Mike. I like to write songs. I've played guitar for most of my life so you'd think I'd have gotten the hang of it by now.... but I still have a lot to learn. I have a lot of fun recording my own tunes in my little home studio and putting them out here on the web to torture my friends! :) I grew up in Denver, Colorado, USA. When I was 23, in 1986, I moved to Venice California USA to play guitar and soon found that I liked having a roof over my head, food on my plate and the love of a beautiful woman more than I liked struggling from gig to gig with no means of support and too much partying. After having a son, we moved back to Denver. I gave up music all together then in 1992 to finish my degree and support my family in the way they deserved. Then in 1999, I started playing and writing again just to try and have a hobby. Since then, I've recorded 50 or so songs, some of which wound up on an independantly released CD call, Life Goes On. A few of my friends here on this site contributed guitar or keyboard tracks on a couple or three of my songs. You can listen to or buy it at CD Baby. Just search on my name. All the songs I will put up here will be songs to be released on a new CD. So, I hope you like them. I appreciate all the feedback you can give to help make the new release as good as possible.
