The Band was formed on 08/14/2012, Plastic Puppets are Strange Smile and Shadra, both are living in Bielefeld / Germany.

In the middle of the 80´s they started their first project together called "The Blushtones"

But after a while each of them had to go their own ways.

 
Strange Smile is a musician for a long time now, started out as drummer and then become a guitarist as well,through the years he learned to play more and more instruments.
Strange Smile has played in several bands from the early 80´s untill now.
These Bands were Influenced by Reggae, Ska, New Wave, Rock, Punk, Grunge, Folk, Sarah, Pyschedelic, Blues, Phunk, Jazz, and Rap.   
 

Shadra was singing in the early ninties in a couple of other bands such as "Cadavre Excquis"  and "Reizend",but then quit singing.
From 2005 until 2010 she was working behind the scenes as a booker,promoter and manager with her own agency "Cantus Infernum" and after several movings all over Germany during the last 25 years finally she moved back to Bielefeld.
 
First the Idea of Strange Smile and Shadra was to renew and improve some of their old stuff from "Blushtones" , but they soon found out after they recorded "Starlight" time and feeling have changed to much and instead of renewing another of their old songs, a total new song was born out of a jam session  one night "Another face of death" and the harmonious cooperation was still the same as it was back then in `86 and both decided to start a totally new project together "Plastic Puppets".--
