Biography Welcome to my little Musical Haven......MIXPOSURE!!!!! THANK YOU, DAZED and WILDCHERRY !!!! for providing such a Fantastic Site!! I am a 58 year old hobbyist musician, who came out of a 20+ year musical retirement......Thanks to the world of computers and modern recording technology. I enjoy finding and listening to new music, as much as I do playing. I suppose, working in record stores, for 12 years, has allot to say about my LOVE for listening. There was nothing I enjoyed more then, than breaking new artists. In those days....we "pushed" new artists and took pride in our new artist sales. SO!! Listening and reviewing here, brings me back to those days.....and I LOVE IT!!! I am primarily a bass player, but love fooling with all instruments. I was never a song writer nor a vocalist in the band days. I couldn't play and sing at the same time and I didn't write, because I couldn't get my ideas across. SO!!! Again!! Thanks to technology, I can build songs, just the way I want them to be and to the best of my personal ability.......which......is limited to my ability My collabs have become a HUGE part of my enjoyment, as it allows me to play with those who have better abilities, to help produce a better song. ANYWAY!!! I am LOVING LIFE, as "they" say, having all of you in my musical world. THANK YOU!! and THANKS to those of you who choose to share your music. I make many CD's for my personal enjoyment.................and this gives me a chance to really enjoy your music in a more enjoyable atmosphere......my truck.

"This Sunday Morning" - Rob, very rich and lush tune. You are the featured artist tonight chief, I enjoyed the simplicity and the expression behind the guitars (Bass, lead), your keyboard work filled this out nicely. Good production quality. You and your team were patient with this song, allowing it to flow, develop and breath. Good job I enjoy this song. The organs at the end reminded me of what we spend so much of time enjoying on Sunday mornings: church. I was pleased how this all was wrapped up nicely.

Nice, a Gentle Giant fan! Saw them live many years ago and the amazing thing was when the would all switch instruments in the middle of a song and it would sound the same exactly!

I was thinkin' about you today. So I just played through Second Winds. I like that "Play Album" function :). It's always a great kick for me to hear your music, and to hear a block of Rockin' Rob Grant, is even better! You are one helluva songwriter, and the collabs really are outstanding, too!
You are one of the National Treasures here, Rob. I dunno if you're aware of that or not, but you are... son. Peace, Jim Peace, Jim |

Black Friday Moods playing at the moment. Really noce piece. Synth pads are great and give it a rich atmosheric sound. Nice guitars. This is a seriously enjoayable listen. I know where you come from in your Bio...the person I primarily make music for is me :) Collabs are the best part of being able to record at home with online people I could never get the chance to meet in real life. Good on ya Rob

Hey,Rob! If of free sec/min check out our "One & Only"..that was pretty unusual even for my eclectical tastes...LOL! But I adore this style overally have even played in some bands of this ilk.The only genre that have a tradition of multi-part simultaneuous improvisation.
Best! |

Your comments greatly appreciated,Rob!I'd like ,also,to express my gratitude to you for spendin' your time on listening and commenting!!We're so busy thses days ,y'know...LOL!
Spinnin' your "black friday moods".Very impressive sonical journey. You're too modest about your music. It's very much Pro-level for my 2 cents. I love the slow evolvment of this composition, incredible collection of sounds-that are somehow meltin' into very coherent whole.Pretty inspirin' Guitar-solo,as well, here. |

Rob !! hiya my friend. I know we haven't had a chance to speak much together lately, but, it is true that i feel a genuine presence of you in my6 heart as one of the acquaintances in my life that is meaningful to me. this stems from the exchanges that we have had across the net- and from your music that i have listened to and admired- and from the many generous times you have commented on my music on the Shane profile, as well as The DEEP.
I finally have grabbed a little time to come and check out your new tracks and listen some more to my favorites of your work. Very glad to have association with you,,, with the contrast of knowing how we could have lost you when trouble hit last year. Faithfully ,,, Shane |

Hey there Rob! I can't thank you enough for the kind words.
I would like to make some stuff available soon, but I am a little fussy about the quality of the mix I am getting right now so I'd like to hammer on it a bit more before putting it out for the public to download. It is the kind words like yours that keeps me hammering away though. =) |

Very Nice ! Bravo ! Thanks for your comments on mine and Gabes song, "Dreams"....that was some inspiration that came to me while setting up a new session, short but, Gabe said "wow" I really like that,so we sent it off to him, nice Colab!
