Funny that love can make one act this way

Funny how anger can make one feel so betrayed

You throw me daggers & they make me bleed

Wound me with words designed by demons that you need set free

Those flying daggers

Make me bleed

Attempts at reason simply turn into a plead

Stab me with words

That you have honed

Until they cut right to the bone with no compassion

So strange that love can make you hurt

So strange how love can make you cry for hours

So strange that love can make you hate

So strange how anger turns your love to daggers

Seems like a battle of intensity

Where love is being subdued quite easily

As anger overcomes the love we need

You sling your daggers with intent to make me bleed
