The music of Scary Cherry and the Bang Bangs...
What is it?
Slampop? Glampunk? Neo Glitter Glam?
It's all of those things and it's none of them.
The music is a root of explosive, revolutionary firebrand, from which grows fearlessly colorful theatrics, and best of all, plenty of emotional instability.  Born out of roller derby in Dallas, Texas, Scary Cherry and the Bang Bangs have been hitting hard ever since.  They recently won the OurStage MTV Partners grand prize, the Microsoft 7 competition and were honored on the BEST OF LOUD and LOCAL show on Dallas’ rock station, 97.1 The Eagle.  With one national tour under their belt including opening for Misfits, Lords of Acid and Genitorturers, they're a pack of creative people whose love for one another inspires them collectively (even when they're ready to strangle each other).  Scary Cherry and the Bang Bangs are the imaginations of the screaming, pent-up kid inside all of us.
