"Smooth Friction" - has a very Stevie Ray Vaughn groove. Nice lyric hook - rhythm backs up the whole groove very well. Glad I came back to get reacquainted with y'all.

"Never California" - Intriguing title, most songs want to take me to California, wondered why "NEVER" CA for you, now I get it - he's never been to CA. Considering you guys started in '07. This is impressive, and a very clean recording - I'm no producer/engineer - but this track sounds very smooth. Very low noise or distracting sounds. You should be proud. Thanks for sharing your talent.

"Winterspring" - great tone in the guitar. Very cool, laid back, vocals fit seemlessly with the mood. Phrasing reminded me of: Barry Mannilow - I know he aint "cool", but the man's got mad talent. It's a compliment. Every sound in here had a place in the sonic palette, nothing wasted or ignored. Good Job - I enjoyed it.

Hi Soundtrapper;
Back for a listen. REALLY like "Wilson's Drummer". very nice melodic blues w/great guitars. Did you go direct in w/guitars? Same w/"It'll Be Alright". IF you did go direct in you really did a wonderful job on the guitar sound. You guys are really nailing your stuff. "Smooth Friction" is a GREAT song. Nothing weak anywhere. Will be back for more! |

I like the drums here. You have them micked well. the guitar is sweeping blues rock. reminds me of the summer and a little of Level 42's early funk stuff. I am loving your work as many of the "New York" set might say! very mellow, I like it.

How strong is this? Great guitar riff and your rock vocal is top class. pre chorus into chorus is also brilliant work. Good old fahioned rock with a crisp clear edge. harmonies are great too. Keep it up. Check out our tracks if you have time
