Those four words very well describe the music of The Maudlin Hounds. Inspired by many styles stretching from blues, folk and country music via 60’s pop to classic rock and metal, The Hounds swings their musical doors wide open. Nevertheless, what it all boils down to is hard rock ‘n’ roll with a “pop” feel to it. The Maudlin Hounds way of pulling it off.

Some beautiful songs in here, glad i came here...
The leadvoice is awesome, makes me jealous a bit...
But I hear some distortion in the mix..maybe it's just bad mp3 quality, i don't know, but the song are very good guys, rockin' !

Hey all!!

Thank you so much, bands and artists, for your great support and positive feedback in 2008. It feels good to know that you like our songs. It means we must've done something right on the long and croocked road to fame and fortune, hahaha.. Well, I guess it takes a lot more than that but anyway, it helps and it's a kick-**** input reading the suff you folks wrote. It means the world to us. OK, I know we're pretty darn slow making comments on other bands and artists music but we're really trying and we promise to change and sound off a bit more often from now on. We hope you are doing well and and having a wonderful X-mas time. We are and by that we say: Merry X-Mas and a Happy New Year from all of us to all of you..

Always love a cow bell and then a cool riff that reminds me of Echo and the Bunnymen. I love the harmonies and the the lyrical content is great. Brilliant sound writing and very very catchy. I will be stopping by again soon. please check our tracks out if you get time.
