I was born in Aruba in 1945.  My father transferred to Colombia in 1955 and I lived there with them until 1959 when his assignment was over.  Since there were no high schools for us, I went to Miami Senior High School, graduating in 1963.  I graduated from Univ. of Tulsa with a BSME in 1967.  I married a local girl, accepted a job in Nederland, TX.  Later I accepted a new job in Conroe, TX.  After 10 years as plant engineer, I transferred to Houston where I was a buyer of mechanical equipment for all over the world.  I retired in 2000.

I was divorced in '89 after 22 yrs.  After 3 years as a single parent, I met the most wonderful lady.  Altogether we have 5 kids, 4 married and 9 grandkids.  Diagnosed with PD in 1998, I had a DBS in 2006, the same time as Marty developed non-Hodgkin's lymphoma which she beat back temporarily.  Then she developed a chromosomal abnormality that left her white cell count nil.

I began writing as a kid.  In high school I was renowned for off-the-wall papers.  In the 70's, 80's and 90's I managed to get lots of letters published in the local paper, including a few political cartoons.

I turned song-writing and making to have an outlet for music and to have a hobby that I enjoyed besides fishing.  Beginning in 2009, I have settled on irony as my initial topic.  I still make tunes with a twist, but I have branched out as the people of M ixposure chat  have given me confidence by their reviews and listening to what my songs have to say, if anything.
