Started playing professionally in 1976 in and around NYC.  In 1979 I moved to NC and began playing dobro with a bluegrass band called CHAOS.  I dropped the dobro in the late 80's to get back into rocknroll and began playing local clubs in the Sandhills of NC.  After playing with the best quartet I thought I'd ever play with called Slaves to Fashion I retired from music in 2003.  Since then 2 of the members of Slaves to Fashion have passed on.  In 2007 I picked up the dobro again and last year I began playing an old lap steel I'd bought years ago.  I'm now playing with a sextet now and having a great time.  Writing some and recording a little.  Hope to do more this year.
