Song Information:

Music: Chris Moore & Gabriel Sabadi
Lyrics: Chris Moore
Production: Gabriel Sabadi

This is the second collab with Gabriel (check out White Sky Dark Earth on his page) and something completely different.  I'm utterly awestruck at the way he has produced this - brought the two contrasting themes together into the finished article.  Hope you like it as much as we do!

Thanks for listening, and thanks Gabe!

Chris

Lyrics:

Hey you always looking back at all you’ve left behind

We all have to learn to live without those things that we can’t find

Like the fleeting touch of angels that stirs us in our sleep

And the breath before the dawn breaks why’s it never ours to keep?

If I could touch a million souls with a song straight from this heart

Or dry the tracks of a thousand tears then would I have played my part?

If I could find my fortune in these words I’m trying to say

Would it make me any richer than I already feel today?

Cause you can’t judge your own life in somebody else’s eyes

You’ve got to live it for yourself my friend before that spirit in you dies

Hey you you’re really something

Hey you hey you

Great track, Chris, you and Gabriel are a natural match. Vocals, production, arrangement, top of the line work. You guys should do more together...Justin

Chris and Gabe, this is just the most awesome sounding tune I've heard in a while. Very rich in texture! Love the vocals and lyrics of course. Truly an amazing tune, that's all I can say. You and Gabe did yourselves proud!!! Class "A" production - top notch!!! Send Gabe the permission to upload the tune to me, so I can play it on my show tonight!

Cheers,
Mike

A wonderful collaboration, Chris. Gabe has a way of putting together these wonderful epic melodies, giving the piece of professional sparkle, and your voice and lyrics are excellent! 5 stars isn't enough.

Peace,

Aaah...Chris, I was already waiting for this one cause you mentioned it was on the way ! Played it a couple of times to get accustomed a bit...and..ooh yeah this is an impressive production. Has that Sabadi productional flavour ! A lot of clarity and wideness with a great overall sound ! Your vox is of course as good as ever...but man... sounded never this sparkling....Realy touched me Chris ! The change into the second part has that Sabadi trademark ! This is truly a fine effort...great work from both of ya !
And ooh yeah....I was touched...by the fine symbiosis between music and lyrics ! What else than 5 stars, and a over the top review from me..haha ! WIM
