I looked at the picture of the wrecked ship on the beach and realised that it was Rhossili Bay, in Wales,UK near to where I live.
This section of coast line is called "The Gower" and is a popular summer attraction.
It is said that the beach is scattered with old coins from lots of ship wrecks over the years.
I've taken many photographs of this beach and it is a wonderful place to be on a summers day..........dylanthermos.

Great work guys - I love prog rock & this blends old with new nicely!!! Any band that uses a mellotron is going in the right direction for me!

It is the anniversary of your album release tomorrow.
'The Way' truly is a unique listening experience. the performances by all are exeptional. What a voice and lyricist you have in Henry, it's not often you find someone of such quality and distinctiveness. I just wish I could find an original way of describing the material.
When I signed up to Mixposure just this week, the first thing I saw on the homepage was the advert for your album. I saw a scene I know very well. Is this a library picture that was chosen for the ad and to accompany 'Liberatre Me' in the CD booklet or did one of you actually take the picture? The reason I ask is this... The beach where this picture was taken is called Llangennith, which on the Gower peninsula South Wales, The shipwreck is just below the village of Rhosilli. At low tide, the island of Worms Head (which is on the horizon in the picture) can be visited and the trek would usually start at the village high up on the cliffs overlooking Carmarthen Bay...yes, the same Carmarthen Bay mentioned in my Bio! I've lived in this area all my life. A house which I once lived in where I grew up, had one of my studio windows looking south towards the peninsula and Worms Head and another looking west along the coast towards Tenby and Caldey Island.

What a connection we've made!

Amazing! You guys are truly some of the most astounding songwriters here, seriously! The blends of styles is so seamless and unique, not to mention timeless. The musicianship is really something else, a caliber that exceeds what I usually hear on most sites. I'm really a fan, I dig it!!! (and by the way, thanks for your cool review)

I don't even know where to begin without sounding redundant to what everyone else has already said. I love this style of music and it's not very often you come across someone who writes, performs, and pulls it off the way you gentlemen do. REALLY REALLY OUTSTANDING STUFF. Hard to pick but I think "SHEEP" is my favorite. This is one of those albums you can just put on, let your mind go, and enjoy the ride.
It takes you everywhere!!! A really great listen.

'He's Like You' is one of the most dramatic tunes I've listened to in awhile; bravo guys for the sensation created that made tingles run fast up my spine. All played so well. Superb!

Yeah, others have really said what I'd comment on here. Very well-written and produced. I love the guitar part in that shouty mid-section. This is something of an epic, surely the basis for a rock musical??? Top stuff.

Wow, this is real prog rock. reminds me of Brian Eno and Gabriel. I lik eit a lot really brave and a fresh take on the genre.We used to cover a few brian eno track many years ago, so i really do appreciate it. Bowie comes through really strong on the vocal for me. great stuff.

Can hear the Genesis influence in this, great vocals and keyboardsa a well produced song keeping the sound of classic prog rock alive.

Prog is such a strange genre. At 46 years old I've worshipped Yes, Genesis and Pink Floyd in one decade. It Bites, Kansas in another. Dream Theater, Spocks, Transatlantic and Porcupine Tree in this one. And the problem is that progressive becomes regressive and I wait for the Squire-esque bass line with the Rick tone; the Tony Banks keys with a melletron sample, the Gabriel like vocal delivery...and I AM drawn in because I love the genre but it's flawed in it's capacity to go forward. TRULY progressive bands like MUSE (in my opinion obviously) seem to reject influences and write from within...but then I can hear Radiohead in there...Rush in Coheed and Cambria, King Crimson in Transatlantic. The list goes on. I really enjoyed everything I heard here and wish I could hear it without all the references because sometimes being a musician deprives you of the gift of having open ears. It all gets a bit binary like. My bottom line is this is fabulous music, well played with passion...what more could you want?

Hey Blake and all the great TCP members! Just been listening to your whole album - head to tails, and I have to write and say how much I've really been enjoying the whole experience! Everyone shines so brightly on these tracks! Exciting arrangements, impressive instrumentation and vocals, and all produced with just the right flair of select spices and secret ingredients! I think your music grows on one in a most beautiful manner! The cohesiveness of the tracks as a whole is quite impressive too - something I know I am missing in my efforts! Getting close to time to toss it all together as an official CD! Be sure and add me to the top of your fan list!!!

It is nice to hear a band offering up some interesting progressive rock, a gengre largely forgotten since the mid 1970’s. TCP is a refreshing ensemble that has nice production (cool sheep effects at beginning of this one) and adept skills on their variety of instruments.

'Hypatia' a hissing, alive wire cools off into the realm of a lighter vision...far off-fine synth strings; good guitar work; fine, very fine vocal range,..like the build up, -the string, & voices synth soars away as the guitar comes in..the guitar has a build up almost it's own from a deep sound to a higher realm, a neat eastern influence comes off well in the end..a good story well produced.

Last Saturday's Center-Stage was awesome. You all did a great job with the expose' and, of course, the music is terrific. I may be a little partial (Henry and Jack are two of my best friends/fellow collaborators), but you guys really make a great team, and the music produced says it all. Oh...and Blake, you're not too shabby on the keys as well.
Great body of work, I hope it keeps going !!

'Liberate Me' has the coolest funky sound. Love the bass combined with the keys...really a superb groove. Fine guitar emersed in there & out it comes so tastefully well...such a nice backup for you Jack, really well thought through; you guys have such a great chemistry, & it comes out always with original artistry. Like the arranging; a nice variance, almost a classical/modern fusion, -clever, it's like that on part could be something played on a harpsichord, just before the mandolin; good choice of instruments to really give interest. Your rollin' well seering playing at to the end.

Thanks Blake, for the review, -cool-- a Variax bass- I still haven't seen everything they have. My son bought a peddle loop line6, which can be fun...but all things considered, I try to keep things simple. The Variax for me has simplicity just working out the sounds, no need for efx. right now. I'm taking on only a few sounds I like on the switch, so it's easier to recall them.

'Sheep' just caught my eye...like the radio comentary, & with the addition of organ/pipes, it becomes haunting, great change with superb always vocals Henry; fine creative lyrics; good guitar playing, organ is a welcome treat here; this is a movin' piece; well arranged with such top notch artists I know; just a great chemistry. Love the guitar changes, fast fingers & a really deep sound -with everthing pulsating DYNAMICALLY. Gotta love that eastern feel, -SUPERB production -what can I say, it's top notch artistry. Wow! Love it.

'Whales and Rockets' --the title caught me... sombre organ comes out to compliment the political mood talkin'...has a bit of an eastern flair to it. Very uplifting. Great sound mix...highly creative & arranged well. Good guitar sound;unique actually.
This moves really cool, like the dynamics of it, very expressive the the sounds. Really like the percussives, & the synth adds to the atmosphere.There are neat subtle textual sounds that further the mood. Well thought out production. Most excellent.****

I stopped by to enjoy some the music on this site and was listening to The Way again. The music you guys have put together is so good in so many ways. The individual talents are obvious, but the creative gestalt is phenomenal. You will never find a boring moment in any of your songs. The drop down to oboe was SUPERB.
Now that is how to transfer from one section to another.

In short,this epic piece impressed the heck out of me,this is the very best progressive rock I have heard since the mighty CUEROCK.
