I loved music ever since I was a little kid and heard the Beatles "Hello Goodbye" at the Alexanders Department store in Milford, CT and begged my mother to buy me the 45 record...I was 4 years old. I wanted to learn to play guitar forever but it wasn't till high school that I finally got one and started learning from a friend (Bill could really play too!) The part that I enjoyed most about playing was being able to write songs and that I did alot in those early days. I messed around with musicians and occasionally "bands" would emerge with a regular set of guys jamming and playing, mostly the tunes I was writing...but I never played out much, only 2 shows ever. After I got married, my Strat was delegated under my bed for 17 years until late 2004 I realized that with this great computer technology I could record music and with practice and knowledge, maybe do it well. Took awhile for my playing to get back to par (though I was never much of a player anyway) but I started writing immediately. I purchased some gear and today I'm recording my music in a very functional home studio (how freaking cool huh?) IMusicScene has become my home on the internet and many here I consider my closest friends though I've never met a soul from here. I've made some fun musical partners and certain members make regular contributions to my music, especially guitar solos (when I don't have the ability to acheive what I hear in my head) Imellow64 and Saturated come to mind, though lately Imellow64 has become a semi-regular on my tracks and his work puts a smile on my face everytime. My first and second CD's, "Songs for the Hearing Impaired" and "Mired in Shadow" are finished and available, though not for sale. I do all this for fun and because I love it, being 44 years old I have no delusions of stardom, I just love to rock, so thats what I'm doing. My life is complete again with music being a part of it. I live in Churchville, NY (just west of Rochester and East of Buffalo) with my wife Wendy (Mrs. Ras...many of you have heard her voice on a few of my tracks) and my awesome boys Joel and Josh (ages 9 and 4). Rock On!
