stopped by to check out winter soldier and I dig it more than I thought I would. It slows down a bit but turns into a good chill song and makes sense with the theme of the song. Keep it up good song here

Little Light Snow is really cool, very melodic and doesn't sound like anything else. I love the groove. Rob Grant on bass, so not surprised about the groove! Nice song.

Hay Rob Grant. Steve Carter, here. Life in Austin is awesome. I just sang a track with Merle Haggard on our new CD! (I produced it). I get to play with Willie, too. I wrote you ALL ABOUT IT on yer myspace page. I have a 30 year old reggae band(no s'prise, huh?)a 20 year old country band(same members), a Django Rheinhardt/Swing standards band and have done well as a songwriter. Gold, platinum and DBL platinum in Norway a lots of Austin freinds have covereed my songs. I play rhythm guitar, sing and still rent out as a bass player. You were always such a good guy and a real influence on me. You were an accomplished musician and I wanted to be one. I saw you had a health prollem. I'm glad you're back and healthy. Good to hear you. Great songs. Yer ol' pal, Steve Carter

INet regulars Rob Grant with Nigel Potter on lyrics have pooled their resources together to create this moody, atmospheric Christmas tune reminiscent of the classical/progressive rmovement in rock of the late 60s. Procol Harum meets Irving Berlin, if that makes any sense. Great work, gentlmen!

Thank you for your input of my music, I am always striving to make more "polished" mixes.

I enjoyed Winter Soldier and the interplay of the synths and vocals. Creates quite a nice "dreamy" effect. Also, rock solid bass playing!! The years show in your playing...these days so many young players feel it all has to be a billion notes a minute to be good. Nice to hear someone that can "lay it back".

Hi, Thanks for the great comments! Your songs are very good too great musicianship!! Love the vocal in Winter Soldier, fit well with the music! The singer reminded me a bit of the voice of John Lennon...
Keep up the good work!!!

Rob :)
I want to thank you for thinking of me in this guitar competition.
I am not sure what I have done to deserve such an act of kindness.
If you won, well, that would be a dream, but if not,I will feel none the poorer for not winning and all the richer for your intentions.
Thank you Rob.

Hi Rob and Nigel, I listened to your song and was pleasantly surprised.
It created an atmosphere of winter, crisp snow and all things associated with that season.
I was impressed by the synth sounds, vocals, lyrics in no specific order.
You worked hard on this song and it turned out great.........Dylan Thermos.

"This Sunday Morning" - Rob, very rich and lush tune. You are the featured artist tonight chief, I enjoyed the simplicity and the expression behind the guitars (Bass, lead), your keyboard work filled this out nicely. Good production quality. You and your team were patient with this song, allowing it to flow, develop and breath. Good job I enjoy this song. The organs at the end reminded me of what we spend so much of time enjoying on Sunday mornings: church. I was pleased how this all was wrapped up nicely.
